WildRouge Black Tea
Where Wilderness Meets Craftsmanship
Nestled in Qifo Valley, Sichuan’s Qingchuan County, our WildRouge black tea thrives in an untamed ecosystem where ancient tea trees grow alongside wild azaleas. The roots delve deep into granite bedrock, absorbing mineral richness that gifts this tea a bold duality: vibrant floral-fruity notes layered with an earthy "rock soul." On the palate, it opens with blackcurrant brightness, transitions into smoky pinewood warmth, and finishes with a caramel-like sweetness—a flavor journey as wild as its origin.
Crafted through a proprietary dynamic fermentation process, this tea boasts a 1.8% thearubigin content, ensuring a luxuriously smooth texture and antioxidant potency rivaling premium red wine.
The Legend Behind the Name
In the 1800s, a bold British botanical explorer stumbled upon feral tea trees in Qingchuan’s mist-shrouded gorge. Local villagers warned that drinking this tea would awaken "untamed vigor." Undeterred, he smuggled leaves in an oak cask, only to discover they’d fermented into a deep crimson hue during the voyage—a happy accident that birthed WildRouge’s signature rouge-red liquor and silken sweetness. Today, each sip carries whispers of rebellion and serendipity.
